FAQs on Hourly Rates
Q. When viewing employer hourly rates on Desktop, there's a ‘Where it is used?’ section that shows which employees are using which rates. Will this be available on the Cloud version?
A. Currently, this feature is not available on the Cloud version. Please stay tuned to our release notes for any updates or new features, found here.
Q. If I amend the Employer hourly rates, will it automatically update the rates in each employee record who use that rate?
A. No, it will not update employee rates found in the 'Payment' section of the employee record. Updating employer hourly rates is for use when adding a new hourly rate to a payslip (either manually or via csv file import). To amend the hourly rate for an employee, you would need to go to the Payment section for each employee and amend this manually.
Employee hourly rates cannot be batch amended via csv file. Each employee's record needs to be updated by the payroll processor.
