After finalising the pay period, simply click the ‘Create/Send Payslips’ button within the 'Payroll' function.
1) On the left hand side select the employees for whom you wish to email/download payslips. Several options for selecting which payslips to print are available by clicking the ‘Select By’ button.

There is also an A4 format option, as well as a new Thesaurus Security template, if required.
Select the desired format from the Template drop-down.

5) Select ‘Email/Download Payslips’ when ready.
6) Payslips can be emailed or downloaded again at any time.

Note: Only BrightPay payslip format either in A5 or A4 is available on BrightPay Cloud. Any other payslip layout options that were available on desktop, are not available on Cloud.

- Enter the desired description and click 'OK':

- On finalising the pay period, the employee's printed payslip will now reflect the customised description:

Please note: the customised payslip description will hold going forward until such time the user removes it.
Printing multiple payslips on the same A4 page
To print multiple payslips on the same A4 page, in the Payroll utility select the pay period you would like to print, then Create/Send payslips > Download PDF Payslips for multiple employees. Click on the Preview icon in the bottom right of the screen and then the print icon at the top right corner. You can then select the number of payslips required, ie 2 per page in the 'Pages per sheet' section. Then select Print.
This will then print 2x A5 payslips on 1 A4 page.
If you wish to communicate a generic letter to employees at the same time as payslips are available, you can use the 'Resources' section in the Employer > Employee Portal to upload a letter here. Make the availability date the same as the payslip availability date and the employee will get a notification on their dashboard when they log in to view their payslip. There is no way to email employees directly from the BrightPay software, you would need to use the Resources section for anything other than payslips.
To print payslips in works order, you will need to amend the Employee display preferences under Settings. You can choose what order employees appear on screen and export by using the 'Order employees by' section.
