The new onboarding option is available under > Employees > Employee Onboarding
To create an onboarding request please select the blue 'Onboard New Employee' button (top right of Employee Onboarding screen)
On the first screen please enter in the employee’s first name and surname > Select ‘Next’.
Enter in the employee’s job title, start date, mobile phone number, email address. Notes can be entered such as pay details, if desired. Select ‘Next’.
All the information entered can be reviewed on the summary screen, where you can make changes. If happy to send the onboarding request please select 'Create Onboarding Request'.
An email and WhatsApp message will be sent to the employee.
The onboarding request shows on the Employee Onboarding page and the status shows as ‘In Progress’.
- If an error was made on the request the request can be cancelled by selecting the spanner opposite the employee’s name and select Cancel.
- If the employee deletes the email or WhatsApp message in error the invitation can be resent by selecting the spanner opposite the employee’s name and select Resend Invitation.
- Details such as the deadline date (which is normally set to two weeks) or the start date or employee’s email address can be edited once the onboarding request is in progress, by selecting the spanner opposite the employee’s name and select Edit Onboarding Details.
Change any details such as the deadline date, employee’s start date or email address and select ‘OK’ to update the details.
When the onboarding request is submitted by the new employee the team member will receive a notification email to advise an onboarding request needs approval and on the Employee Onboarding Dashboard the status of the request will change to Review now.
