This release introduces a new way to set up additions and deductions, along with a number of improvements to reliability and security. Everything below is live from 22 October 2026.

Additions and deductions that repeat until a set total
You can now set an addition or deduction to repeat each pay period until a total amount is reached. For example, an allowance can now stop automatically once it has been paid in full, so there’s no need to remember to remove it. BrightPay Cloud (UK)

Pay by Bank more reliable when a payment doesn’t go through
Pay by Bank now handles payments that don’t complete more smoothly, so you can carry on processing your employees.
