In the BrightPay Cloud version, employees can view payslips and request leave once they are set up on the employee portal.
A Manager can then be assigned to a certain employee, a group of employees or a department.
Managers can then approve leave but cannot access payroll information or view the employee's payslips directly from the manager's portal.
Please see below where you can assign a Global Manager, Line Manager or Department Manager on the system.
If you wish to assign a manager to a single employee, you can do it within the section below.
Note: There is no activity log to show if or when employees have accessed their payslips online via the employee portal.
If a payslip is not appearing in the employee portal/app, double check that the payslip’s are finalised and the documentation settings are correct for portal availability.
You can re-open the payslip and finalise it again. This will then push the payslips to the employee portal (and app).
If the payslips are finalised, they will be visible to employees in the portal and app—even for zero-pay periods.
P60s, PBIK & P11Ds will be available in the employee portal based on the documentation availability date set in the Employer section > Employee Portal on BrightPay. If any of these documents are not appearing in the portal, please check the date availability set in the software and amend if required.
