Employment Verification in BrightPay
BrightPay are integrating with leading providers to offer an Employment Verification solution. We have partnered with Experian and Equifax for employees whose payrolls are processed by BrightPay for instant verification of income and employment status.
This feature simplifies the process for employers when employees are applying for loans, mortgages, and tenancy agreements by eliminating the manual task of gathering employment and income data. Data is verified in real-time during the application process, which speeds up processing times and reduces the administrative burden for HR, Payroll, and all employees.
With this solution, employees no longer need to request payslips or employment documentation or search for the required information. They simply start the application and consent to verify their employment and income data.
Data is shared under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Experian and Equifax is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
This is how the process works:
- Employee commences the application for loan, mortgage, etc
- Employee is requested to provide proof of income and employment
- Employee consents to the data being verified online via the Employment Verification facility
- Only if the employer is opted in, will the income and employment information be supplied in real time
