To request a change of ownership of your organisation, please create a support ticket and include the following information:
- The name of your BrightPay Online organisation
- The email address currently registered as the owner
- The email address of the new owner
Your ticket will be treated as your written permission to transfer ownership of the organisation.
For security reasons, this request should be submitted by the current owner of the organisation wherever possible.
If the current owner cannot submit the request
If the current owner is not able to contact us directly, we will need additional information to verify your authority to request the change. Please email our support team with one or more of the following:
1. Confirmation from the current owner
- An email from the current owner’s registered email address authorising the transfer.
2. Request from an authorised company contact
- A request from an authorised administrator or company director using a recognised company email address.
3. Account and company details
Confirmation of the following details:
- Organisation name
- Registered business name
- Company registration number (if applicable)
- The email address currently registered as the owner
4. Billing information
Verification of billing details, such as:
- The last invoice number
- Subscription details
5. Proof of authority
Evidence that you are authorised to act on behalf of the organisation, for example:
- A signed letter on company letterhead
- An email from a company director or owner
- Other documentation showing you are an authorised representative
6. If the current owner has left the business
If the current owner has left the organisation, please provide confirmation from a company director or senior manager authorising the ownership transfer.
What happens next
Once we have:
- Received your request, and
- Collected and verified the required information,
we will process the ownership transfer.
You will receive a confirmation once the transfer has been completed.
